Peppermint
Peppermint tea has a bright, cooling taste with a clean menthol snap, sharper than spearmint. The dried leaves are dark green, brittle, and curled, with visible veins. Peppermint holds up well to hot water: steep it at about 195 °F (91 °C) for roughly 3 minutes, since a longer soak turns the flavor sharp. It pairs naturally with lemon, honey, or a few dried rose petals for a softer cup, and works equally well after a meal or any time you want something bright and cool.
